| 1910 The Wellington Disaster on March 1 is the worst Railroad Disaster in American History when more than 96 people are killed just west of Stevens Pass in a massive avalanche. Stephens Hospital sold April 10 and becomes Monroe General Hospital. Savoy Hotel constructed on West Main Street. Cornerstone laid for the Reformatory May 28.
