Search Instructions

Welcome to online searching the Skykomish Historical Society collection. Our online collection is a sub-set of our total collection. The online version will be updated twice each year as new items are added.

Searching may be approached three ways:

Keyword Search: Just type in a word or phrase like ″Grotto″, ″oil can″, ″Maloney″, ″Skykomish School″ or ″Class of 1933″

Advanced Search: This method allows combining categories and limiting search results.

Random Images: Provides random images from the collection. To get details on any item, click on the underlined words below the image.

In search results you may see the same item listed more than one time. This happens because the search found the keyword in, for example, both a caption and an item description.

If there is no photo provided for a search result, no photo has been added to this listing. However, the item is available in the museum to see.

Printing Images: you may use the Print button, or save the photo to your computer and then print it.
